| | Re: Jake the Turkey Way to go Forrest, great job on that fellow. I have to laugh at all the turkey hunters in our area. We see turkeys going across our back field at least once or twice a week and yet I have a young nephew that goes hunting quite often and usually gets nothing. Lots of times we'll have to stop the car to let a dozen or so cross the road, and believe me, they are never in any hurry when that happens. Good work buddy.

| | Re: Jake the Turkey Forrest, that's a really nice piece! I love the way you use the old wood for starters. It begins with "character" and you've added just the right touch!

| | Re: Jake the Turkey Great carving Forrest, love the depth of the trees and fauna. Excellent painting too, Captured the oh thats not really hen calling or is it look. Thats one nice jake. He'll be a beauty of a longbeard in short order. I love to hunt turkeys. Great challenge to call them in close. Taste great smoked or baked. Great box call, Love the wormy chestnut. Need to check around for some old barn wood.
