Woodcarving Illustrated’s readers submitted more than 300 projects in the Best Carving Design Contest. The editorial staff nominated the top pieces in each category (the Editor’s Choice Nominees) and posted them online for you to vote on the contest winners.
We need your vote to determine the winners! Choose your favorite carving from each category. Then, pick your favorite overall carving for the coveted Best of Contest prize.
This year’s contest has the following categories:
- Beginner Carver
- Caricature
- Relief
- Realistic
- Stylized
- Whittling
- Open
All Editor’s Choice Nominees will receive a personalized award certificate.
The seven People’s Choice Category winners will receive an award ribbon, a contest T-shirt, and a $50 Fox Books gift certificate. The Best in contest will win all of that PLUS an award trophy or plaque and $100 cash.
Voting will be available until Midnight June 1, 2012, so get your votes in as soon as possible.
